DIK Fagazine is the first and only art magazine from Eastern Europe that deals with homosexuality and masculinity. The magazine is bilingual, in English and Polish, is printed in Poland and distributed across the world. The artist Karol Radziszewski is the founder and editor of the magazine. He is currently in Bergen for Volt’s exhibition of the artists’ collective szu szu, and Volt has collaborated with Robot to present the magazine in the Robot shop on Thursday.

Karol Radziszewski established DIK Fagazine in 2005. Each issue of the magazine is organised around a different concept and the magazine contains interviews, reports and artist’s contributions from the likes of Wilhelm Sasnal, Dan Perjovschi, Zbigniew Libera, Artur Zmijewski, Rafal Bujnowski, Katarzyna Kozyra, Pawel Althamer, Slava Mogutin, Brian Kenny and Alex Mirutziu. The magazine covers art, photography, literature, comic strips and fashion. The magazine layout and design has been created by one of Poland’s leading young designers Monika Zawadzka, who previously ran the gallery Zoo in Warsaw.
