The reading group is open to all interested attendees. Seats are limited, sign up for one or several evenings at marie(at)v-o-l-t.no. The texts will be made available when you sign up.

On four evenings, Volt will host a reading group in a studio space. The events will feature conversations and discussions of texts by Alain Badiou, Gilles Deleuze & Felix Guattari and C. Wright Mills.

Introductions by Synnøve Skarsbø Lindtner, Magnus Bøe Michelsen and Kristin Sampson.

Gilles Deleuze & Felix Guattari "The Smooth and the Striated" from A Thousand Plateaus.
Introduction by Kristin Sampson, Associate Professor, Department of Philosophy at the University of Bergen.

30 November at 20:00
C. Wright Mills, "Den sosiologiske fantasi - Om politikk", in Det nye venstre: og andre essays om politikk og samfunnsforskning (Pax Forlag, 1966), translated by Johan Ludwig Mowinckel. Introduction by Synnøve Skarsbø Lindtner, postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Information Science and Media Studies at the University of Bergen.
