continuous crystallization

Lars Hilles gate/Christies gate, Bergen Map

Opening 14 May at 19:00

A crystal is a solid material, whose constituent atoms, molecules, or ions are arranged in an orderly repeating pattern, extending into all three spatial dimensions. continuous crystallization consists of five paintings that problematize an ongoing, uncontrollable and unstoppable growth, captured visually as both order and disarray, crystal clear or chaotic, where humans either fight or flee. This impulse can be transposed to the continuous growth and progression of nature, as well as to thoughst and ideas around our conception of existence.
