Narrating Our Lines

Rom 8
Vaskerelven 8, Bergen Map

At 19:00

plan b (Sophia New & Daniel Belasco Rogers) will present a new performance at Volt where they will be working with their GPS tracks that they have now been collecting for several years, out of a desire to see a drawing of their lives. The work in progress performance lecture will be presented at the gallery Rom 8 at Bergen National Academy of the Arts.

They will be redrawing their movements over the last year in their home city Berlin and trying to narrate the animation of all of their tracks – remembering what they were doing, and where exactly they were going. As we move around more and technology allows us to record those journeys – how does that begin to affect our experience of time, space and movement?
